The cannabis industry itself is the direct result of passionate people fighting for reasonable access to the plant. With this lineage rooted in advocacy and accessibility, it’s natural that the industry inevitably evolves and grows alongside its own community.
Recently in Nevada, we saw Senate Bill 277 pass and as a result, the state will be increasing the daily purchase limit from one ounce of flower to two and a half ounces of flower. As compliance regulations change, operators are forced not only to identify how this new regulation affects their supply chain and product strategy but also how they can remain compliant.
Within MJ Platform, the change to daily purchase limits can be managed within Retail: Sales Settings within one field. Under Settings Management, users are able to adjust daily purchase limits for both medical and recreational shoppers within one field. Simply update the daily flower gram or equivalent limit and now our users can easily adjust what they legally can sell to one person per day.
We congratulate Nevada on this recent victory in cannabis access and look forward to more states following their lead in activism and accessibility.
