The MJ Platform software and services teams are back from MJBizCon and had such a blast! We are proud and grateful for the opportunity to present to such a great global audience seeking growth in our industry.
MJ Platform presented alongside our parent company, Akerna, on the first floor of the show and were able to meet so many future cannabis leaders. We had not only a help desk staffed with our compliance software experts, retail team ready to show off the flexibility of MJ Retail on mobile tablets, but also a meeting area set up for one-on-one live demos of our platform and services. Our consulting team was able to answer questions and provide guidance to future operators with state-specific expertise.
Unique to this year’s MJBizCon was the sheer size of the show- moving from the West Hall to both floors of the South Hall was an incredible feat that justified the need for a full three-day expo badge. The experience on the lower floor was buzzing with curious cultivators and retailers looking for ways to expedite and perfect their processes. The upper floor did feature a Hall of Flowers exhibit featuring cannabis brands from across the country sampling non-medicated product and exploring MSO opportunities. One of the more creative booths on the upper floor featured two massage chairs for tired trade show attendees to recharge in- truly a thoughtful move on their part.
Internally, our team was so proud to connect with operators in new or even emerging markets. We noticed a trend of future East Coast leaders exploring opportunities for streamlined software solutions. The West Coast has a longer established history of regulated cannabis and we were proud to see the movement of proactive East Coast establishments ready to hit the ground running.
